easyJet has today announced that in March 2026 they will open a new base at Newcastle Airport with three based aircraft, creating approximately 130 direct jobs for pilots, crew and engineers, while supporting around 1,200 UK jobs in total.

Emirates has today announced the renewal of their longstanding partnership with Air Mauritius, which includes a reciprocal codesharing agreement on select routes beyond the airlines’ gateways, as well as cooperation on frequent flyer programs and cargo handling.

Starting November 11, 2025, Cathay Pacific will resume seasonal service between Hong Kong and Adelaide.  The route will operate three times weekly with an Airbus A350-900 featuring Business Class, Premium Economy, and Economy Class cabins.

Lufthansa Group has published their schedule for the upcoming winter season.  The schedule features more Allegris connections than ever, including flights from Munich to New York, Chicago, Miami, Shanghai, Cape Town, Bengaluru and Tokyo.

Norse Atlantic Airways has reported a first quarter net loss of $14.9 million on revenue of $125.3 million, up from $78.2 million during the same period last year.  At March 31, 2025, the carrier had $25.0 million in cash.

From June 1st, 2025, American Airlines will offer tequila on select flights as an inflight alcoholic beverage for eligible guests. The carrier has also introduced new snack baskets in premium cabins, while expanding their buy on board menu for Main Cabin customers.

From January 2026, Aer Lingus will start new nonstop service between Dublin and Cancún, Mexico.  The route will operate three times weekly with an Airbus A330-300, with service from January 6th through April 2026.

Ryanair has reported a full-year 2024/25 net profit of €1.61 billion on a 4.0 percent year-over-year increase in revenue to €13.95 billion.  At March 31, 2025, the carrier had gross cash totaling nearly €4.0 billion, and net cash totaling €1.3 billion.
