American Airlines has today announced that they will resume direct service between Miami and Caracas, Venezuela as soon as April 30, 2026, pending approval from U.S. and Venezuelan government authorities.

WestJet has today announced the addition of Copa Airlines as a new interline partner. The carrier has also launched new interline booking capabilities, allowing customers to book seamless multi-airline itineraries across 50 partner airlines.

Southwest Airlines has expanded their California network with new service to/from Sonoma County Airport. The carrier has also launched new service to St. Maarten, expanding their Caribbean and Atlantic Basin network to 10 destinations.

Air Canada has today announced an expansion of their winter 2026/27 flying program, including the only nonstop service between North America and Tenerife in the Canary Islands.

Binter has announced the restart of flights between Gran Canaria and Vitoria-Gasteiz, reinforcing their commitment to the north of the peninsula and the Basque Country, where they also serve San Sebastian.

Azerbaijan Airlines has announced the signing a new codeshare agreement with Air Serbia. Effective May 2026, codeshare flights between Baku and Belgrade will be operated twice weekly.

JetBlue has today announced the launch of new service between Fort Lauderdale and Cleveland, Ohio. The carrier is also adding flight frequencies across nine popular existing routes.

easyJet has announced the launch of new seasonal service between London Gatwick and Newquay for summer 2026.  From June 23, 2026, the route will operate twice weekly. SWISS has announced an expansion of their SWISS Air Rail network partnership with Swiss Federal Railways with the addition of Grindelwald.  The intermodal network now includes 25 destinations across Switzerland, Germany, and Austria.

WestJet has announced an expansion of their codeshare partnership with SAS, which will provide guests on both sides of the Atlantic enhanced connectivity across Canada and Scandinavia.

For next winter, Lufthansa will expand their offer to the far north, including new direct service between Munich and Rovaniemi starting December 4, 2026.  For winter 2026/27, Lufthansa will fly up to 69 times weekly to nine airports in the Arctic circle region. 

For summer 2026, Iberia will offer a record flying program with over 21 million seats, and will also launch new service to four destinations, including Toronto, Monterrey, Bucharest and Tivat.

Etihad Airways’ inaugural nonstop flight between Abu Dhabi and Charlotte, North Carolina touched down on Friday, March 20, 2026. The flight was operated with a state-of-the-art Airbus A350-1000.

For Winter 2026/27 British Airways will launch new service to Melbourne, Australia and Colombo, Sri Lanka, and will also increase service to Cape Town, Tokyo and Barbados. The carrier has also added more flights to Bangkok and Singapore.
