LOT Polish Airlines Launches Inaugural Flight Between Warsaw and Almaty

LOT Polish Airlines has today announced the launch of new direct service between Warsaw and Almaty, Kazakhstan. The route will now operate four times weekly in summer and three times weekly in winter.

On Monday (June 1, 2026), LOT Polish Airlines announced the launch of their inaugural flight between Warsaw and Almaty in Kazakhstan, with the first flight taking to the skies on Sunday, May 31, 2026. For summer, the route will operate four times weekly on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, with flights departing Warsaw at 22:40. The return flights will depart Almaty on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays at 09:20 (all times local). For winter 2026/27, the route will operate three times weekly on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, with return flights scheduled on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Flights will be operated with a Boeing 737-8 MAX.
In Monday’s announcement, LOT Polish Airlines Board Member and Chief Commercial Officer, Robert Ludera, said,
