On Monday (May 25, 2026), LOT Polish Airlines announced the launch of their inaugural flight to Porto, complementing existing service to Lisbon.  Flights between Warsaw Chopin Airport (WAW) and Porto (OPO) will operate five times weekly during the summer season, and four times weekly in winter.  During summer, flights will depart Warsaw on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays at 10:20, while the return flights will depart Porto on the same days at 14:25 (all times local).

In Monday’s announcement, LOT Polish Airlines’ Chief Commercial Officer, Robert Ludera, said,

Portugal has long remained one of Europe’s most attractive travel destinations, while Porto perfectly complements LOT Polish Airlines’ portfolio of city break and leisure travel destinations. In 2025, the passenger seat factor on flights to Lisbon exceeded 86%, reflecting very strong performance.  The new route will also contribute to the further development of tourism and business relations between Poland and Portugal.  As LOT Polish Airlines continues to expand its route network, the airline remains committed to providing passengers with comfortable and convenient travel options to Europe’s key destinations.  I have no doubt that Porto will soon become one of the most popular directions in the national carrier’s network.

LOT Polish Airlines connects Central and Eastern Europe with the rest of the world, including the U.S., Canada, India, Japan and South Korea.  The carrier operates long-haul flights with state-of-the-art Boeing 787 Dreamliners.  Founded in 1929, LOT Polish Airlines is the 11th oldest airline in the world, and is also one of the most internationally recognized Polish brands.
