On Tuesday (May 19, 2026), Allegiant Travel Company announced a major expansion of their Florida network with eight new routes to and from four Florida airports from fall 2026.  From Fort Lauderdale (FLL) Allegiant will offer new direct service to Boston, Omaha, Pittsburgh, and Kansas City (Missouri).  The new routes to/from St. Pete-Clearwater include Philadelphia and Columbia (Missouri).  Allegiant will also launch new service between Orlando-Sanford and Trenton, New Jersey, as well as between Punta Gorda and La Crosse, Wisconsin.

In Tuesday’s announcement, Allegiant’s Chief Commercial Officer, Drew Wells, said,

“We’re excited to announce these new routes and believe it is an important time for Allegiant to increase travel options in these markets.  Our mission is to offer service where it is needed most, and these additions ensure that affordable fares can remain available to consumers despite industry changes.  When we grow our route map, we ensure affordable options remain available for travelers across America.”

Las Vegas-based Allegiant Travel Company (NASDAQ: ALGT) is an integrated travel company with an airline at its heart, focused on connecting customers with the people, places and experiences that matter most.  Since 1999, Allegiant Air has linked travelers in small-to-medium cities to world-class vacation destinations with all-nonstop flights and industry-low average fares.  Today, Allegiant’s fleet serves communities across the nation, with base airfares less than half the cost of the average domestic roundtrip ticket.  Allegiant operates a fleet of Airbus A320 Family and Boeing 737 MAX Family aircraft.  On May 13, 2026, Allegiant completed the acquisition of Sun Country Airlines Holdings, Inc., creating a combined airline serving nearly 175 cities, with over 650 routes and a combined fleet of 195 aircraft.
