Ethiopian Airlines to Launch New Direct Service Between Addis Ababa and Port Louis, Mauritius

Ethiopian Airlines has announced the start of new nonstop service between Addis Ababa and Port Louis in Mauritius. Starting July 12, 2026, the route will operate three times weekly on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

On Monday (June 1, 2026), Ethiopian Airlines Group announced the launch of new three-times-weekly direct passenger service from Addis Ababa to Port Louis, Mauritius starting July 12, 2026. The new route will operat three times weeklye on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays Ethiopian Airlines flight ET 0887 will depart Addis Ababa (ADD) at 08:50, arriving in Mauritius (MRU) at 15:20. The return flight, ET 0886, will depart Mauritius at 16:15, and will touch down back in Addis Ababa at 20:45 (all times local).
In Monday’s announcement, Ethiopian Airlines Group’s CEO, Mr. Mesfin Tasew, said,
“We are delighted to launch this direct flight service to Mauritius, making it easier for Africans and other international tourists to visit this beautiful African island destination, while also enhancing business and trade opportunities. As a leading carrier on the continent, expanding our African network remains one of our top priorities, in line with our vision of strengthening connectivity among African nations and linking the continent more closely with the rest of the world.”
