Lufthansa Allegris Takes Flight to Toronto, Rio de Janeiro, Bogotá, Hyderabad and Austin

Lufthansa’s first Allegris equipped Boeing 787-9 took to the skies on Thursday (October 9th) with service from Frankfurt to Toronto. Other new destinations featuring Allegris for winter 2025/26 include Rio de Janeiro, Bogotá, Hyderabad and Austin.
On Thursday (October 9, 2025), Lufthansa announced the departure of their first Allegris equipped Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner with service between Frankfurt and Toronto. Other new destinations featuring Allegris on departure from Frankfurt for winter 2025/26 include Rio de Janeiro, Bogotá, Hyderabad and Austin. Allegris has been available on Lufthansa’s Airbus A350-900s from Munich since May 2024, and has proven to be very popular with customers.
In Thursday’s announcement, Lufthansa Airlines’ Hub Manager – Frankfurt, Francesco Sciortino, said,
“We are delighted that we will now be able to offer our passengers from Frankfurt our latest and significantly upgraded travel experience on long-haul flights with Allegris. Allegris has been enthusiastically received by guests who have already experienced it. We are therefore particularly proud that the new premium cabin is now also being used on other routes and above all, from our largest hub.”
Over 500,000 passengers in all classes have already experienced the new Allegris seating concept, and 90 percent were enthusiastic about the new cabin. With Allegris, passengers can expect an exclusive and personalized experience across all classes, with innovative seating concepts, high-quality materials and state-of-the-art technology. As additional Boeing 787-900s are delivered in the coming weeks, Lufthansa will announce further long-haul destinations for Allegris.
