Air Transat has announced that they will extend service from Montreal to Bordeaux and Valencia for winter 2025/26.  Previously offered only in summer, these flights will now operate weekly from February with an Airbus A321LR.

LOT Polish Airlines has today announced the opening of ticket sales for their new service between Warsaw and Malaga, which will start on January 15, 2026.

Avianca has launched new nonstop service between Bogotá and Dallas-Fort Worth. The route will now operate four times weekly with a 180-seat Airbus A320, providing over 1,400 seats per week. With the Dallas service, Avianca now offers 19 direct routes to the U.S.

Air New Zealand is increasing regional connectivity with new jet service between Hamilton and Christchurch.  Starting September 18, 2025, select services will be operated with a 171-seat Airbus A320, marking the first jet service to Hamilton in 25 years.

Airbus has today announced that Vietjet has placed a new order for 20 Airbus A330-900s. The aircraft will allow the carrier to increase capacity across the Asia-Pacific region, and introduce new long-haul services to Europe.

airBaltic has announced the official opening of the ‘Baltic Cargo Hub’, one of the Baltics’ largest and most advanced cargo facilities. The new facility was officially opened during a dedicated ceremony at Riga Airport on Thursday, May 22, 2025.

JetBlue has inaugurated new daily nonstop seasonal services from Boston to Madrid and Edinburgh, expanding the carrier’s transatlantic offer from Boston to seven destinations. The new seasonal routes will operate through October 25, 2025.

Norse Atlantic Airways has today announced that their partnership with P&O Cruises has been renewed for the upcoming winter 2025/26 season of fly cruises to the Caribbean.

Frontier Airlines is launching three new routes from Atlanta this week.  Service to Oklahoma City launched today ( Thursday, May 22nd), while flights to Kansas City will begin tomorrow, and service between Atlanta and Aruba will start on Saturday, May 24th. 

easyJet has today announced that in March 2026 they will open a new base at Newcastle Airport with three based aircraft, creating approximately 130 direct jobs for pilots, crew and engineers, while supporting around 1,200 UK jobs in total.
