Lufthansa has announced the launch of a new 100th anniversary brand campaign which captures the zeitgeist of a century of aviation history with a modern look at advertising history.  The motifs can be seen across Frankfurt, Munich and Berlin.

This year American Airlines is celebrating 100 years of flights, marking the carrier’s first airmail flight from Chicago to St. Louis in 1926. Starting today, the carrier’s celebrations for this milestone anniversary will be visible across a range of touchpoints.

This year, Lufthansa will be celebrating their 100th anniversary. On January 6, 1926, the first ‘Luft Hansa’ was founded, and on April 6th of the same year started revenue passenger service.

Following a partnership las spring with the exhibition ‘Georges Mathieu - gesture, speed, movement,’ co-produced by the Monnaie de Paris and the Centre Pompidou, Air France has reissued their iconic advertising posters designed by the artist in 1967.
