Azerbaijan Airlines has welcomed a second new Airbus A320neo this year as part of their large-scale fleet modernization and sustainable development program.

On Monday (October 13, 2025), Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL), a part of AZCON Holding, welcomed their second new Airbus A320neo this year, as part of the carrier’s large-scale fleet modernization and sustainable development program. This will strengthen AZAL’s position in the region, while offering passengers greater flexibility and comfort. The A320neo features a modern interior designed for passenger comfort, featuring larger overhead storage bins and ergonomic seats. Configured with Business Class and Economy cabins, the aircraft also offers an IFE system and high-speed Wi-Fi service. Business class guests and AZAL Miles members with specific tier level status will enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi.
With new-generation engines and advanced aerodynamics, the Airbus A320neo delivers reduced fuel consumption and CO₂ emissions compared to previous generation models. AZAL received their first Airbus A320neo in September 2025, and the airline expects to receive 30 new aircraft by 2032, enabling AZAL to operate one of the most modern and fuel-efficient fleets in the region.
