Wizz Air Expands Wrocław Base with Third Aircraft and Six New Routes

Wizz Air has announced an expansion of their base at Wrocław Airport in Poland with the addition of a third aircraft and six new routes, including service to Gran Canaria, Catania, Ohrid, Varna, Keflavik, and Dortmund.

On Wednesday (October 8, 2025), Wizz Air announced expansion of their base at Wrocław Airport with a third Airbus A321neo aircraft and new service to Reykjavik (Keflavik), Dortmund, and Varna, joining recently announced routes to Gran Canaria, Catania and Ohrid. The carrier is also increasing frequencies from Wrocław to Barcelona, Bari, Tirana, and Malaga.
At Wednesday’s press conference in Wrocław, Wizz Air’s CEO, József Váradi, said,
“Today marks another milestone for Wrocław and for Poland. By adding a third aircraft, launching three new routes, and increasing frequencies on existing favourites, we are continuing our ambitious growth plans in the country, bringing even more choice, low fares, and flexibility for our passengers. This expansion is a testament to our commitment: to deliver simple, affordable, and enjoyable travel while fuelling regional growth and creating more jobs both directly with the airline and in the associated industries. We look forward to welcoming even more travellers on board and strengthening Poland’s connectivity and sustainable development.”
