American’s new Airbus A321XLR debuted on Thursday (December 18th), departing New York-JFK with service to Los Angeles at 11:00.  American is the first U.S. based carrier to operate the aircraft type.

For summer 2026, Alaska Airlines will bolster service from Anchorage and Portland with seven new routes, including direct service to Boston and Jackson Hole, as well as to four destinations in Washington state.

Starting June 18, 2026, Air Transat will inaugurate new direct service between Toronto Pearson and Tirana in Albania. The route will operate once weekly with an Airbus A330.
