easyJet Announces 13 New Routes from Eight UK Airports for Winter 2026/27

easyJet has today announced the launch of 13 new routes from eight UK airports for the upcoming winter season, including new routes to Finland, Denmark, Iceland, Egypt, Spain, Germany and Switzerland.

On Thursday (June 18, 2026), easyJet announced an expansion of their winter 2026/27 schedule with 13 new routes from eight UK airports.  The carrier will launch new routes from London Luton to Kittilä and Strasbourg, London Southend to Edinburgh, Birmingham to Copenhagen, Manchester to Cairo, Liverpool to Kittilä and Reykjavik, Newcastle to Barcelona, Berlin, Copenhagen, Hurghada and Rovaniemi, and Newquay to Geneva.


In Thursday’s announcement, easyJet’s UK Country Manager, Kevin Doyle, said,


“We are delighted to announce 13 new routes and thousands more package holidays are now available from eight airports across the UK this winter, providing customers with even more choice from their local airport, all with great value and fantastic service.  We are committed to providing our customers across the UK with greater regional connectivity as well as supporting inbound tourism.  Whether our customers are looking for winter sun, ski or adventure, they can now book an even greater range of destinations with confidence, and we look forward to welcoming them on board.”


Service from London Luton to Kittilä and Strasbourg will start on November 24th and 29th respectively.  The Kittilä service will depart twice weekly on Tuesdays and Saturdays, and the Strasbourg service will operate four times a week on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays.  The new service from London Southend to Edinburgh will start on October 25th, and will depart twice weekly on Thursdays and Sundays.  Flights from Birmingham to Copenhagen will start on November 16th, departing twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays.


Flights between Manchester and Cairo will start on November 9th, and will operate twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays.  easyJet will also offer exclusive direct service from Manchester to Sphinx airport, which is the closest airport for those visiting the Pyramids of Giza and western Cairo.  Service from Liverpool to Reykjavik and Kittilä will start on November 2nd and 25th, respectively. November.  Flights to Reykjavik will depart twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays, and services to Kittilä will operate twice a week on Wednesdays and Saturdays.


Additionally, easyJet is further expanding their Newcastle network with the addition of five new routes, bringing total routes to 31, meaning the airline has quadrupled their Newcastle network since launching its base in March 2026.  Flights to Barcelona will start on October 25th, Hurghada on October 27th, Copenhagen on November 5th, Berlin on November 20th, and Rovaniemi on November 25th.  Barcelona flights will depart twice weekly on Fridays and Sundays, and the Hurghada service will operate on Tuesdays and Saturdays.  Service to Copenhagen will operate on Thursdays and Sundays, flights to Berlin will depart on Mondays and Fridays, and flights to Rovaniemi will depart on Wednesdays and Sundays.

easyJet is also launching flights between Cornwall Airport Newquay and Geneva, marking their first international route from Newquay, which will operate once a week on Saturdays from 16 January 16th through February 27, 2027.   The new seasonal service will be the only direct connection between Newquay and Switzerland and follows easyJet’s recent announcement of a summer route between Newquay and London Gatwick.
