On Wednesday (June 17, 2026), JetBlue announced an expansion of their premium transcontinental flying from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL), adding new daily Mint® service to San Diego International Airport (SAN), beginning November 19th, and adding more Mint flights to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and San Francisco International Airport (SFO) this winter.  This expansion marks the largest Mint schedule from FLL in the airline’s history.

In Wednesday’s announcement, JetBlue’s SVP – Revenue, Network and Network Planning, Daniel Shurz, said,

“Customers in Fort Lauderdale continue to choose JetBlue for a better coast-to-coast experience, and these additions give them even more of what they value most: more flights, more premium options and the comfort of Mint on key West Coast routes.  With new Mint service to San Diego and additional flying to Los Angeles and San Francisco, we’re making it easier for South Florida travelers to get where they want to go with the service, style and value that sets JetBlue apart.”

JetBlue continues to invest in Fort Lauderdale as a key focus city and major gateway across Florida, Latin America and the Caribbean.  The carrier has increased daily departures from the city by over 75 percent this year, and expects to reach approximately 150 daily flights from Fort Lauderdale by this winter, their largest schedule ever from the airport.  With new Mint service to San Diego, JetBlue will offer the only Business Class option between Fort Lauderdale and San Diego, giving customers a more comfortable and premium way to travel.
