Air Canada will add 16 percent more capacity to Latin America for the winter 2025/26 season with four new destinations and 13 new routes. The new destinations include Rio de Janeiro, Cartagena, Guatemala City, and Guadalajara.

JetBlue has today announced that SKY Leasing, a leading aviation investment manager, has acquired JetBlue Ventures, the airline’s venture capital subsidiary. Founded in 2016, JetBlue Ventures has invested in 55 early-stage startups.

Airbus has reported a first quarter 2025 net profit of €793 million or €1.01 per share on a year-over-year increase in revenue of 6.0 percent to €13.5 billion.  At the close of the period Airbus had net cash totaling approximately €11.0 billion.

JetBlue has launched inaugural flights to Wilmington, North Carolina and Norfolk, Virginia. The carrier has also added service from New York-JFK to Detroit, Hartford, Pittsburgh and Providence, as well as between Fort Lauderdale and Guatemala City.

United Airlines has today announced the opening their reimagined United Polaris® Lounge at Chicago O’Hare with 50 percent more space and Crate & Barrel décor. The new space offers over 350 seats and a larger, 50-seat private dining room.

JetBlue has reported a first quarter 2025 net loss of $208 million or ($0.59) per diluted share on a year-over-year decline in revenue of 3.1 percent to $2.14 billion. At March 31, 2025, the carrier had $3.8 billion in total liquidity.

Lufthansa Group has reported a first quarter 2025 net loss of €885 million or (€0.74) per share on a year-over-year increase in revenue of 10 percent to €8.1 billion. At March 31, 2025, the Group had €11.4 billion in total liquidity.
