SkyTeam Cargo Celebrates 25th Anniversary

SkyTeam Cargo officially celebrated their milestone 25th anniversary on Sunday, September 28, 2025, marking a quarter century of collaboration and innovation as the world’s only global airline cargo alliance.

On Monday (September 29, 2025), SkyTeam announced the celebration of their 25th anniversary, which was officially marked on Sunday, September 28, 2025).  SkyTeam Cargo was established in Washington D.C. in 2000 by four founding airlines, including Aeromexico Cargo, Air France Cargo, Delta Cargo and Korean Air Cargo.  Currently, SkyTeam Cargo connects over 850 destinations across more than 150 countries with a fleet of over 2,500 aircraft, offering four distinct product lines, namely Express, General, Specialized and Customized. 


In Monday’s announcement, SkyTeam’s CEO, Patrick Roux, said,


“2025 marks a milestone year as SkyTeam Cargo celebrates a quarter century of enhancing the global shipping experience.  25 years in, we remain proud to be the world’s only airline cargo alliance, now expanded to serve hundreds of destinations.  From the beginning, SkyTeam Cargo was built on customer focus and global airline collaboration–like our passenger operations. Those values remain our guiding star as we look ahead and continue to innovate for the future.”
