On Wednesday (October 1st, 2025), IAG Cargo, the cargo division of International Airlines Group (IAG), announced their winter 2025/26 schedule.  Highlights include resumed service between London Gatwick (LGW) and Bangkok (BKK), with six weekly flights, as well as between London Heathrow (LHR) and Abu Dhabi (AUH), with seven weekly flights.  IAG Cargo will also launch new twice-weekly widebody service between Dublin (DUB) and Madrid (MAD), which will open up new trade opportunities across Latin America for Irish exporters.  Additionally, the company is reintroducing Dublin - Miami (MIA) service with three weekly flights, resuming service between Heathrow and Dallas (DFW) with seven weekly flights, and will launch a new route between Madrid and Orlando (MCO).

In Wednesday’s announcement, IAG Cargo’s Chief Sales and Marketing Officer, Camilo Garcia Cervera, said,

“The winter season is a crucial time for global trade, and we’re particularly pleased to see Bangkok return to the network, a key market for many of our customers.  The introduction of a wide-body connection between Dublin and Madrid further strengthens our network, providing greater access to key transatlantic and Latin American trade lanes.  With more wide-body services, greater frequencies, and four hubs, we give businesses of all sizes reliable and timely access to access markets worldwide.”

For winter 2025/26, IAG Cargo is also increasing capacity on several existing routes.  Flights between London Heathrow and Cape Town (CPT) will increase from seven to 17 per week, while the Heathrow-Miami service will double from seven to 14 weekly flights.  The company is also adding capacity between London Heathrow and Bahrain (BAH), with an increase from three to seven weekly flights.  IAG Cargo customers will be able to benefit from the new winter schedule which runs from October 26, 2025 through March 28, 2026.

IAG Cargo was created in April 2011 following the merger of British Airways World Cargo and Iberia Cargo.  After the integration of other IAG Group airlines, including Aer Lingus, Vueling and LEVEL, IAG Cargo now operates a global network covering six continents.  From London, the company offers over 600 weekly widebody services. Additionally, Dublin serves as a gateway to North America, boasting over 80 weekly widebody flights.  IAG Cargo now also offers over 240 weekly widebody services connecting Madrid and Barcelona with destinations across North America, Latin America, and the Caribbean.
