Envoy Air Celebrates a Decade of Dedication and Service

American Eagle Airlines became Envoy Air on April 15, 2014.  Over the last decade, Envoy has operated over 2.95 million flights, carrying more than 140 million guests.  The carrier now employs over 20,000 team members across 116 locations.

On Monday (April 15, 2024), Envoy Air celebrated their tenth anniversary, marking when American Eagle Airlines officially became Envoy Air on April 15, 2004.  Over the last decade, Envoy has operated 2,95 million flights, carrying more than 140 million guests.  In early 2024, the carrier surpassed 20,000 team members across 116 locations.  Since introducing the Embraer E175 in 2015, and the E170 in 2021, Envoy retired their Embraer E145 fleet.  Currently, the airline has a firm fleet commitment of at least 181 aircraft, with new deliveries expected in the coming months.


November 1st, 2024, will mark the 40th anniversary of when the first American Eagle Airlines’ first flight took to the skies with service from Fayetteville, Arkansas to Dallas-Fort Worth in Texas with a Convair 850 turboprop aircraft.
