American Airlines Unveils Centennial Anthem Video Ahead of Their 100th Anniversary

American Airlines has today announced that with just 100 days to go until 2026, they have unveiled a centennial anthem video highlighting historic and present-day images of their fleet, global network and team members.
On Tuesday (September 23, 2025), American Airlines announced the debut of a centennial anthem video, highlighting historic and present-day images of their fleet, global network and team members. This precedes the celebration of airline’s 100th anniversary on April 15, 2026. Over the next year, American Airlines will celebrate milestone moments built on its rich legacy both on the ground and in the air. Additionally, American has today debuted their centennial logo, which will be featured across merchandise, digital channels, onboard, sports properties and more.
In Tuesday’s announcement, American’s CEO, Robert Isom, said,
“American is proud to be an airline known for its legacy of firsts. As we get ready for our centennial, we celebrate the strong history of our iconic airline and brand while knowing we’ve built an airline that will continue to move our customers and company forward for the next 100 years.”
