Wizz Air Abu Dhabi will launch new service between Abu Dhabi and Erbil, Iraq. Starting October 6, 2023, the route will operate twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays with one-way fares from AED 289 (US $79.00).
On Thursday (July 20, 2021), Wizz Air Abu Dhabi announced the launch of new service between Abu Dhabi and Erbil in Iraq from October 6, 2023. The route will operate twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays with introductory one-way fares from AED 289 (US $79.00). Erbil is a modern metropolis with a rich history, warm hospitality and stunning landscapes. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the city offers a vibrant culture with amazing historical landmarks such as the ancient Citadel. Visitors of all ages can immerse themselves in historical and natural attractions like the Sami Abdul Rahman Park, Jalil Khayat Mosque and the Kurdish Textile Museum.
In Thursday’s route announcement, Wizz Air Abu Dhabi’s Managing Director, Johan Eidhagen, said,
