WestJet Expands Codeshare With Aeromexico to 10 Additional Destinations

WestJet has today announced an expansion of their codeshare partnership with Aeromexico, unlocking 10 new destinations in Mexico.  Aeromexico guests will also benefit from the addition of four new Canadian destinations.

On Wednesday (July 2, 2025), WestJet announced an expansion of their codeshare partnership with Aeromexico, opening access to ten additional destinations in Mexico, including Aguascalientes, Ciudad Obregon, Ciudad Juarez, Durango, Oaxaca, Puerto Escondido, Tampico, Tuxtla Gutierrez, Torreon and Veracruz.  WestJet guests can now enjoy streamlined access to more than 30 destinations across Mexico. Additionally, guests traveling with Aeromexico will now have access to connect to more than 20 coast-to-coast-to-coast destinations with WestJet, including Victoria, Regina, Saskatoon, Ottawa and Halifax.  Customers will also enjoy access to three new popular British Columbia destinations including Comox, Cranbrook and Nanaimo, along with the return of codeshare service to St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador. 


In Wednesday’s announcement, WestJet’s EVP and Chief Commercial Officer, John Weatherill, said,

Also commenting on the expanded codeshare partnership, Aeromexico’s Vice President of Sales – U.S., Canada and Latin America, Jose Zapata, added,
