Vueling Adds Flyr to Virtual Interline Booking Platform Powered by Dohop

Vueling has added Flyr to their virtual interline booking platform Vueling Global powered by Dohop. Vueling and Flyr customers will now enjoy extended connectivity between Bergen, Trondheim and Also, as well as a growing domestic network in Norway, and beyond.

On Thursday (December 21, 2022), Vueling Airlines announced the addition of Flyr to their virtual interline booking platform, Vueling Global, powered by technology provider Dohop. Customers of both airlines will now enjoy extended connectivity across Europe and beyond. Without having to establish new routes, Vueling and Flyr can now offer their customers enhanced offers between Bergen, Trondheim and Oslo, along with a growing network in Norway. Additionally, Flyr will be offering travel opportunities outside of Europe. For example, it will now be possible for customers to travel from Oslo to Malaga with Flyr, and then continue with Vueling to a number of destinations across the Middle East and North Africa.


In Thursday’s announcement, Vueling’s Manager – Distribution and Alliances, Jesús Monzó, said,


“Vueling continues investing on the virtual interlining technology through this partnership with Flyr. Our customers will benefit from an enhanced value proposition, increased merchandising capabilities, and expanded network. All this is embedded in an advanced digital experience with clear positive impact on our clients.”


Also commenting on the new virtual interline partnership, Flyr’s Chief Commercial Officer, Thomas Ramdahl, said,

Vueling Airlines is part of the International Airlines Group (IAG), and a leading LCC in Europe offering key connectivity in Spain. The carrier is a leader at Josep Taradellas Barcelona-El Prat Airport, and in other key markets such as Bilbao, as well as between the Balearic and Canary Islands. Vueling also has bases at London-Gatwick, Paris-Orly, Amsterdam, Florence and Rome. The airline operates a fleet of 125 Airbus A319, A320, A320neo and A321 aircraft.


Flyr is a new Norwegian carrier offering service to domestic destinations in Norway, as well as to a number of European cities including Paris, Rome, Brussels, Berlin and Barcelona. The carrier also serves popular holiday destinations such as Alicante, Malaga and Las Palmas. Flyr has 450 dedicated team members and operates a fleet of 12 Boeing 737-800NG and 737-8 MAX aircraft with an average age of around five years.
