British Airways Signs New Codeshare Agreement with Porter Airlines

British Airways has today announced the launch of a new codeshare partnership with Canada’s Porter Airlines. Under the agreement, British Airways’ customers will now enjoy seamless access to 17 destinations in Canada.

On Wednesday (June 24, 2026), British Airways announced the signing of a new codeshare agreement with Porter Airlines, providing British Airways customers with seamless access to travel on selected Porter Airlines domestic routes. With the new partnership, British Airways’ customers will be able to book flights to 17 destinations in Canada including Ottawa, Edmonton and Winnipeg, connecting from the British Airways network when traveling to or from London via Toronto or Montreal. Additionally, members of the British Airways Club will now be able to earn Avios and tier points when traveling on Porter Airlines flights.
In Wednesday’s announcement, British Airways’ Chief Planning and Strategy Officer, Neil Chernoff, said,
“We are delighted to launch this codeshare with Porter Airlines, meaning British Airways customers can now book flights on Porter Airlines’ network with convenience and ease. This agreement makes travel between London and Canada even easier, offering more options and flexibility. We look forward to working closely with Porter Airlines and further strengthening our partnership.”
Also commenting on the new codeshare partnership, Porter Airlines’ SVP and Chief Commercial Officer, Edmond Eldebs, said,
“It is our pleasure to welcome British Airways customers to the Porter experience. This codeshare agreement reflects our shared commitment to making travel seamless and enjoyable. More travellers have the opportunity to discover more of Canada the Porter way, with elevated service and comfort that we’re known for. We look forward to a strong and growing partnership.”
