Viva Aerobus and the Las Vegas Raiders announced on Monday that Viva would become the official Mexican airline partner of the team. As part of the alliance, Viva Aerobus will adorn one of their Airbus aircraft with a special Raiders livery.
On Monday (August 8, 2022), Viva Aerobus and the Las Vegas Raiders announced at a ceremony at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas that Viva would become the official Mexican airline partner of the football team. As part of the alliance, Viva Aerobus will adorn one of their Airbus aircraft with a special Raiders livery, promoting the partnership with over 2,000 flights annually. The partnership will also be highlighted across multiple social media and marketing channels, offering customers the opportunity to win trips and gain exclusive access and tickets to Raiders games at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
At Monday’s ceremony on Monday, Viva Aerobus’ General Director, Juan Carlos Zuazua, said,
“We are very excited to be the official Mexican airline of the Raiders, a team that, like us, is guided by discipline, perseverance, camaraderie and passion for what we do. And it is that this new alliance allows us to connect our passengers with an exciting sport in the entertainment capital of the world. There can be no better combination to watch than a professional football in Las Vegas. Let's fly high with the Raiders! And as the team's fans say: 'Just Win Baby’”.
Also commenting on the new partnership, the Las Vegas Raiders’ President, Sandra Douglass, said,
“The Las Vegas Raiders are proud to announce the partnership with Viva Aerobus as our Official Mexican Airline. We have strong ties to Mexico and are grateful to our loyal fan base there. We are committed to continuing to grow Raider Nation in Mexico.”
Founded in 2006, Viva Aerobus is Mexico’s ultra-low-cost carrier (ULCC). Currently, the airline operated the youngest fleet in Latin America with 62 Airbus aircraft including 40 A320s and 22 A321.
