Vistara and Lufthansa have launched a reciprocal partnership between the Club Vistara and the Lufthansa Group’s Miles & More loyalty programs. Members of both programs can now earn and redeem points when traveling of flights operated by both airlines.
On Wednesday (October 27, 2021), Vistara announced a new reciprocal loyalty agreement with Lufthansa. Members of Club Vistara and Lufthansa’s Miles & More frequent flyer programs can now earn and redeem CV points or miles when traveling on flights operated and marketed by Lufthansa, as well as on Vistara flights. Lufthansa operates a network of nearly 200 destinations, and Vistara’s three-class cabin configuration offers India’s only Premium Economy Class product, providing consistency and comfort for Lufthansa guests across their journey. Vistara and Lufthansa entered into a codeshare partnership in December 2019.
In Wednesday’s announcement, Vistara’s Chief Commercial Officer, Mr. Vinod Kannan, said,
“We are delighted to extend our strong partnership with Lufthansa and bring synergies between our respective frequent flyer programs. I am confident that this will enable us to provide greater value and convenience to our Club Vistara members on their travels across the world. We are also equally excited to welcome Miles & More members and provide them a consistent, world-class flying experience when they fly ‘India’s best airline’.”
Also commenting on the new reciprocal loyalty partnership, Miles & More GMBH’s Senior Director – Loyalty Programme Development & Service, Christopher Siegloch, said,
“We are pleased to strengthen the already started codeshare partnership between Vistara and Lufthansa with the start into the Miles & More programme. Vistara as a strong partner and popular airline extends our airline portfolio and therefore offers added value to our Miles & More members which now have the opportunity to earn and redeem miles on Vistara flights.”
