On Thursday (March 30, 2023), Virgin Atlantic announced the launch of brand-new menus across all cabins from April 5, 2023. The carrier will also offer tasty onboard treats in celebration of Easter and the King’s coronation. Upper Class guests will also appreciate the debut of the much-loved Whispering Angel rosé wine. Additionally, the airline’s flagship London Heathrow Clubhouse is launching a sustainable fresh food partnership with Full Circle Farms.

In Thursday’s announcement, Virgin Atlantic’s Chief Customer and Operating Officer, Corneel Koster, said,

“We’re pleased to mark the return of warmer days with an enhanced food and drinks service onboard. At Virgin Atlantic we’re always working to create unique and personal experiences for our customers, and delicious dishes and refreshments never go unnoticed. Delighting our customers is what our teams do best; offering fantastic and extensive choice in our Clubhouse and onboard, with special touches to celebrate momentous occasions. We will continue to develop our offering, to delight our customers as they do business, visit family, or seek the sun.”

New additions to the Upper Class menu include lobster and crab tortellini, vegetarian poke bowl and a classic Pimms summer pudding. The extra bites menu now features a club sandwich loaded with applewood cheese, house claw and seasonal leaves on brown bread served with salted crisps. An appetizing aloo tikki is also available, with pepper pakora with tomato and onion salad, accompanied by sweet tomato and chili chutney. Additionally, a tempting new strawberries and cream flavor Northern Bloc ice cream will also join the menu. As previously mentioned, Upper Class guests will also be able to enjoy the renowned Whispering Angel rosé, which will be available for six months from April 5, 2023. Customers can also truly relax with a chilled glass of Côtes de Provence, with the evocative grapefruit and citrus notes, or sip on teapigs peach iced tea, a refreshing all-natural blend of juicy peach with teapigs’ black tea base.

Premium customers will be able to choose between a delectable chicken pie and spinach & ricotta tortellini with sage butter sauce, roasted pumpkin and caper panko crumb. For dessert, premium customers will enjoy a passionfruit and mango cheesecake garnished with coconut. Economy Class guests will be treated to a honey barbeque chicken thigh with Portuguese rice and steamed vegetables, alongside a farfalle pasta in the spinach ricotta cheese and roasted garlic sauce.
