Air Canada Launches New Service Between Montréal and Guadalajara

Air Canada has today announced the launch of new service between Montréal and Guadalajara. This summer, the carrier will also increase capacity to popular Mexican destinations by 18 percent compared to summer 2025.

On Tuesday (February 17, 2026), Air Canada announced an expansion of their summer 2026 schedule to Mexico with new service between Montréal and Guadalajara, as well as increased frequencies to Cancún, Monterrey, Mexico City and Puerto Vallarta. The new, year-round service to Guadalajara will start in June, while service from Montréal to Cancún will increase to 11 weekly flights, and Toronto-Monterrey service will increase to four weekly flights. From Vancouver to Mexico City will increase to 11 weekly flights, and Puerto Vallarta flights will operate twice weekly. Customers traveling to Mexico with Air Canada will enjoy premium and economy cabin options, as well as free beer, wine, premium Canadian snacks, and complimentary award-winning inflight entertainment. Aeroplan members will also enjoy fast, free Wi-Fi.
In Tuesday’s announcement, Air Canada’s EVP and Chief Commercial Officer, and President of Cargo, Mark Galardo, said,

Taking advantage of growing passenger and cargo demand strength, new service between Montréal and Guadalajara will be offered year-round and we will increase capacity to other sought-after destinations across the country.
