Vietjet Launches New Service Between Hanoi and Xi’an, China

Vietjet has today announced the launch of their inaugural direct flight between Hanoi and Xi’an, China. Flights will operate four times weekly, with departures from Hanoi on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

On Monday (July 7, 2025), Vietjet celebrated the launch of their inaugural nonstop flight between Hanoi and Xi’an, China. Flights will operate four times weekly, departing Hanoi on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays at 21:25, and arriving in Xi’an at 01:10 the next morning. The return flights will depart Xi’an at 02:10 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, touching down back in Hanoi at 04:10 local time the same day.
With over 3,000 years of history, Xi’an is an ancient Chinese capital, and is renowned for its iconic landmarks, including the ancient city wall of Chang'an and Mausoleum of Emperor Qin Shi Huang, as well as numerous historical artifacts and distinctive Shaanxi cuisine. Inbound customers to Hanoi will enjoy the city’s thousand-year-old heritage, and will be captivated by its timeless charm and rich Vietnamese culinary traditions. The new route strengthens Vietjet’s presence in China, complementing existing service to Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Chengdu, among others.
