On Saturday (December 25, 2021), Vietjet announced the delivery of their first Airbus A330-300. The aircraft, registration VN-A811, features a soft iridescent golden strip livery, symbolizing the cultural quintessence of Vietnam and Asia generally. The livery takes the shape of mountains and rivers alongside the countries and conveys the pride of the region’s legendary cultures. It also expresses the connection between the traditional and modern between East and West cultures. The new Airbus A330-300 arrived at Ton Son Nhat International Airport just north of Ho Chin Minh City on Christmas morning, where it was greeted with jubilant activities.

In Saturday’s delivery announcement, Vietjet’s Managing Director, Dinh Viet Phuong, said,

We will also launch upgraded SkyBoss services soon as another special gift for our customers.”

The aircraft has been configured with comfortable and specious leather seats including 12 in Business Class and 365 Economy Class seats. With a range of up to 11,750km (6,344 nm), the aircraft can cover from medium-haul to truly long-range routes.
