UPS has ordered eight additional Boeing 767-300 Freighters, expanding their 767 Freighter fleet to 108 airplanes. The cargo carrier will take delivery of the new airplanes in 2025, and will also add another Boeing 767-300 Boeing Converted Freighter (BCF) in late 2023.
On Monday (August 29, 2022), Boeing announced that UPS has ordered an additional eight Boeing 767-300 Freighters for delivery in 2025, expanding their 767 Freighter fleet to 108 airplanes. The new order builds on UPS’ purchase of 19 767 Freighters announced in December 2021. Additionally, UPS will take delivery of another Boeing 767-300 Boeing Converted Freighter (BCF) in late 2023. In total, the additional airplanes will expand UPS’ fleet of Boeing and Boeing-heritage airplanes to over 260 aircraft.
In Monday’s announcment, UPS’ Executive Vice President and President U.S., Nando Cesarone, said,

With these aircraft, our fleet will continue to be among the most modern in our industry, meeting our customers' needs while improving our efficiency, sustainability and reliability.”
Also commenting on UPS’ Incremental Boeing 767 Freighter order, Boeing’s Senior Vice President of Commercial Sales and Marketing, Ihssane Mounir, said,

Based on the Boeing 767-300ER passenger jet, the 767 Freighter carries up to 52.4 tonnes of cargo with intercontinental range, making it the flexible choice for long-haul, regional and feeder markets. UPS was the original launch customer for the 767 Freighter in 1995, and has since purchased 108 of the airplane type. The cargo carrier currently operated 238 Boeing Freighters including 747s, 757s, 767s and MD-11s.
