United Airlines Opens Their Largest U.S. Club at Newark Liberty International Airport

United Airlines has today opened a new nearly 30,000 square foot United Club lounge at Newark Liberty International Airport, now their largest U.S. Club. The lounge is located in Terminal C3 near gate C123, and offers a modern design along with enhanced amenities.

On Thursday (May 19, 2022), United Airlines announced the grand opening of their new United Club lounge at Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR), which is located in Terminal C3 near gate C123. The nearly 30,000 square foot space, the carrier’s largest U.S. Club, features a modern design and enhanced amenities and culinary offerings, while featuring locally-sourced art and furniture and views of the Manhattan skyline. The Newark United Club’s new design reflects a modern take on the United Club experience and offers over 480 spaces for lounging, working private dining and socializing, spa-like showers with Sunday Riley products, and a barista-staffed coffee shop experience featuring illy’s signature blend of 100 percent Arabica beans.


In today’s announcment, United Airlines’ Managing Director of Hospitality and planning, Aaron McMillan, said,


“As more and more customers return to the skies, United is committed to delivering a superior customer experience on and off the plane, especially in increasingly crowded airports. Our new Newark Club location is carefully designed with the customer at the forefront with thoughtful touches like murals and décor that reflect the local community. This design theme and commitment to creating a locally-inspired experience will set the precedent for future club openings and renovations across our network.”
