United Airlines Introduces New Transcontinental Amenity Kit Featuring Asutra Skincare Products

From today, United Business® guests traveling on premium transcontinental domestic routes will enjoy new amenity kits featuring exclusive products from Venus Williams-backed wellness brand Asutra. Customers travelin to Hawaii will also receive a new kit featuring products from Ua Body.

On Tuesday (August 1, 2023), United Airlines announced the introduction of new amenity kits for United Business® guests traveling on premium transcontinental routes. The new comfort kits feature exclusive products from Venus Williams-backed wellness brand Asutra. United has also introduced new amenity kits for United First® passengers traveling between the continental U.S. and Hawaii, including skincare products from Hawaiian brand Ua Body, which will debut later this month. The airline distributes transcontinental and Hawaii amenity kits to approximately 65,000 passengers monthly.


In Tuesday’s announcement, United Airlines’ Director – Onboard Product Design, Peter Wolkowski, said,


“We’re really proud of these amenity kits – fantastic new partners, exclusive products and high-end ingredients. Our customers are going to love them. These kits, customized for our transcontinental and Hawaii-bound travelers, are just the latest way we're working to make the travel experience even better at United.”

Created in partnership with Asutra, United’s premium transcontinental amenity kits offer skincare made without any parabens, phthalates or petroleum, and are designed to help flyers unwind and feel refreshed upon landing. The kits contain an Asutra cleansing face towelette, a nourishing lip balm, and hand lotion made with magnesium, mango seed butter, coconut oil and almond oil. The Asutra-branded pouch also includes a bamboo toothbrush, toothpaste, an eye mask and ear plugs. Both the pouch and eye mask have been made from recycled materials.


Also commenting on the amenity kit collaboration, Asutra’s Owner and CEO, Stephanie Morimoto, said,

The new United Hawaii amenity kit incudes skincare products from Ua Hawaii, a brand owned, operated and made in Hawaii. Products include a moisturizing lip balm, hand cream, and a refreshing face mist featuring local scents like sandalwood, jasmine and coconut oil, along with local ingredients such as Kukui oil and Organic Hawaiian Sandalwood oil. The kits also include an eye mask made from recycled materials, a bamboo toothbrush, toothpaste and ear plugs. The reusable Hawaii amenity kit pouch features artwork from local artist Christie Shinn, and was inspired by her passion for surf, travel and design.


Further speaking on the amenity kit collaboration, Ua Body’s Founder and CEO, Leala Humbert, said,
