TrueNoord has today announced the completion of the sale of one Embraer E190, MSN 19000543, to UK operator Titan Airways, marking the carrier’s first regional jet purchase.

On Monday (July 28, 2025), TrueNoord announced the sale of one Embraer A190 to UK operator Titan Airlines. This marks the carrier’s first regional jet acquisition, which will be used to support the growing demand for ACMI and charter contracts across the UK and Europe. TrueNoord is seeing increasing demand for mid-sized regional jets, especially from ACMI operators who seek to offer flexible capacity solutions to major European airlines looking for additional uplift capacity. The Embraer E190 combines mainline reach with the ability to operate at restrictive airfields. Offering a range of 2,400 nautical miles and a spacious cabin, it has the flexibility to operate from short-haul to longer haul routes.
In Monday’s announcement, TrueNoord’s Sales Director – Europe, Ahmed Ali, said,
“TrueNoord is witnessing increased demand for regional jets from the ACMI sector. We’re delighted to have concluded this transaction with Titan Airways. Whilst the journey was not without challenges, both teams remained aligned and focused, enabling us to navigate maintenance constraints and complete delivery successfully. We are proud of the result, and we wish Titan every success on their journey with this aircraft.”
Also commenting on the E190 acquisition, Titan Airways’ Account Director, Mark Holt, said,
“Following an intensive market and operational analysis, we identified the Embraer E190 as the ideal aircraft to fill a growing gap in the regional market. This is our first E190 and we’re confident in its ability to deliver the performance, efficiency and flexibility that our customers require to support their operations.
“Working with TrueNoord has been a truly collaborative experience. Their team were engaged and supportive throughout the process, helping us to navigate the complex technical and logistical challenges. We’re grateful for their expertise and commitment.”
