Transavia France Partners With Planitas to Boost Ancillary Revenue

Transavia France, the low-cost subsidiary of Air France-KLM, has today announced a new partnership with Dublin-based data services company Planitas, which will drive ancillary revenue through the use of price decisioning technology.

On Wednesday (October 4, 2023), Transavia France announced the launch of a new partnership with Dublin-based Planitas to drive the carriers ancillary revenue growth. The data services company will leverage the value of Transavia’s own data to boost optimized customer centric offers through the use of price decisioning technology. With dynamic pricing, the partnership will transform Transavia France’s value proposition, thereby leading to a higher ancillary revenue yield, increased customer satisfaction, and a net increase in total revenue. Founded in 2000, Planitas is a specialist partner to airlines with expertise in data analytics solutions.


In Wednesday’s announcement, Transavia France’s Chief Commercial Officer, Nicolas Hénin, said,


“We are delighted to team up with Planitas. This partnership is in line with our growth and development trajectory. With the aim of maximizing our ancillary revenues, our teams will benefit from a technical solution around dynamic pricing, and will be able to identify new opportunities for customer-centric offers.”


Also commenting on the new technology partnership, Planitas’ CEO, Simon Grennan, added,

Transavia is a low-cost subsidiary of the Air France-KLM Group, and carries over nine million passengers a year across more that 100 destinations with a fleet of 71 aircraft.
