TAP Air Portugal Inaugurates New Service Between Porto and Luanda

TAP Air Portugal has launched new direct service between Porto and Luanda. The route will operate twice weekly on Wednesdays and Sundays with a 298-seat Airbus A330neo featuring 34 Executive Class seats and 264 Economy Class seats.

On Saturday (May 28, 2023), TAP Air Portugal announced the inauguration of new direct service between Porto and Luanda in Angola. The route will operate twice weekly on Wednesdays and Sundays, with flights departing Francisco Sá International Airport in Porto at 13:30 and arriving in Luanda at 21:35. The return flight departs Quatro de Fevereiro Airport in Luanda at 23:20 and arrives back in Porto at 07:45+1. TAP’s new Porto-Luanda service will be operated with a state-of-the-art 298-seat Airbus A330neo featuring 34 Executive Class and 274 Economy Class seats.


The Airbus A330neo offers customers an elevated onboard experience with a reduced noise footprint and advanced technologies, including the latest generation inflight entertainment (IFE) and connectivity. TAP’s new Luanda route joins existing transatlantic service from Porto to New York-Newark, São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.
