For the upcoming winter season, SWISS will extend many of their newly-introduced summer 2024 routes, including flights from Zurich to Washington, D.C., London Gatwick, Cluj-Napoca and Košice, as well as from Geneva to Oslo.
On Thursday (May 23, 2024), Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS) announced an expansion of their winter 2024/25 schedule. The carrier will extend newly-introduced summer 2024 routes into the winter season, including flights from Zurich to Washington, D.C., London Gatwick, Cluj-Napoca and Košice, as well as from Geneva to Oslo. Additionally, SWISS will increase frequencies to Los Angeles, San Francisco, Miami and Shanghai.
Flights between Zurich and Washington, D.C. will operate five times weekly, while service from Zurich to London Gatwick will operate daily for winter. Flights to both Cluj-Napoca (Romania) and Košice (Slovakia) will operate three times weekly. SWISS will also increase frequencies to both Los Angeles and San Francisco with daily flights on both routes, and will also offer daily Zurich-Miami service. For winter 2024/25, the carrier will also offer daily service between Zurich and Shanghai. Flights between Geneva and Oslo will also continue for winter with three weekly flights, while service to Copenhagen will operate five times weekly, and flights to both Valencia and Malaga will each increase to three weekly frequencies.
In total, SWISS’ 2024/25 schedule will include a total of 93 destinations from Zurich and Geneva, including 65 European and 23 international points from Zurich, and service from Geneva to New York, plus 22 short-haul destinations. All flights in SWISS’ winter 2024/25 schedule are now bookable, for travel from October 27, 2024 through March 29, 2025.
