Starting June 2024, Sun Country Airlines will launch new service to Montréal-Trudeau and Toronto Pearson airports. The carrier’s schedule expansion also includes seasonal service to eight new domestic routes from Minneapolis-St. Paul.
On Tuesday (October 17, 2023), Sun Country Airlines announced the launch of routes to two new Canadian destinations from June 2024, including service to Montréal-Trudeau International Airport (YUL) and Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ). As part of the carrier’s summer 2024 schedule expansion, Sun Country is also adding new seasonal routes from Minneapolis-St. Paul (MSP) to eight domestic destinations, including Albuquerque (New Mexico), Billings and Missoula (Montana), Boise (Idaho), Washington-Dulles (Washington D.C.), Grand Rapids (Michigan), Oakland (California), and Syracuse (New York).
In Tuesday’s announcement, Sun Country Airlines’ SVP and Chief Revenue Officer, Grant Whitney, said,
“Sun Country prides itself on being the leisure airline of choice for MSP customers. We have more than doubled our nonstop destinations for customers flying out of MSP in the last five years and we are thrilled to offer these unique new offerings spanning the continent from Quebec to New Mexico.”
Service on most of the new routes will operate twice weekly, while flights to Washington-Dulles (IAD) will operate four times per week. Including the new destinations, Sun Country will offer direct service from MSP to 98 distinct markets.
