Sun Country Airlines will launch new nonstop service between Minneapolis and Cleveland from May 17, 2023. The route will operate four times weekly on Mondays, Wednesdays, Friday and Saturdays through Labor Day.

On Wednesday (January 24, 2024), Sun Country Airlines announced the launch of new direct service between Minneapolis St. Paul International Airport (MSP) and Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE). The new seasonal route will operate four times per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays through Labor Day weekend. For 2024, Sun Country will offer direct service from MSP to Cleveland and 98 other destinations, including Philadelphia (PHL), Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky (CVG), and Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW).
In Wednesday’s route announcement, Sun Country Airlines’ Chief Revenue Officer, Grant Whitney, said,

We have been wanting to serve Cleveland for some time, and our schedule for Cleveland will operate when our customers want to travel.
