Sun Country Airlines will resume nonstop service from Minneapolis/St. Paul to Gulfport-Biloxi and New Orleans for Fall 2021. The carrier is also extending service between MSP and Raleigh-Durham into the fall and will add flights to Florida, Arizona, Mexico and more.
On Tuesday (June 8, 2021), Sun Country Airlines announced that they will add and expand seasonal service from the Midwest for fall 2021. The carrier will resume service from Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport (MSP) to Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport (GPT), as well as Louis Armstrong International Airport (MSY), and will also extend service to Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU) into the fall. As part of their seasonal expansion, Sun Country will add flights from the Midwest to popular fun and sun destinations in Florida, Arizona and Mexico and more. Additionally, on November 21, 2021, the carrier will offer same day return service between Green Bay (GRB) and Minneapolis (MSP) for football fans, as well as on January 2nd and 3rd, 2022, for fans who want to cheer on Minnesota at Green Bay.
In Tuesday’s announcement, Sun Country Airlines’ Chief Marketing Officer, Brian Davis, said,
“This fall presents an opportunity for us to provide folks even more flexible and convenient travel options as they begin planning exciting weekend excursions and holiday vacations.”
Sun Country currently operates 96 routes across 71 airports in the U.S., Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean. Once onboard, guests will enjoy free inflight entertainment, complimentary non-alcoholic beverages and new aircraft interiors.
