Starting August 16, 2024, STARLUX Airlines will launch new nonstop service between Taipei and Seattle. Seattle will become the carrier’s third U.S. gateway, complementing existing service to Los Angeles and San Francisco.
On Thursday (March 28, 2024), STARLUX Airlines announced the launch of new direct service between Taipei (TPE) and Seattle (SEA) starting August 16, 2024. Seattle will become the airline’s third U.S. gateway, joining Los Angeles and San Francisco. Inbound travelers to Taipei can enjoy seamless one-stop connectivity with STARLUX to 21 Asian destinations, while customers traveling to Seattle can enjoy onward connectivity via STRALUX’s partner, Alaska Airlines. The route will operate three times weekly with an Airbus A350 featuring four First Class, 26 Business Class, 36 Premium Economy and 240 Economy Class seats.
In Thursday’s announcement, STARLUX Airlines’ CEO, Glenn Chai, said,

STARLUX guests will enjoy an elevated and luxurious travel experience. First and Business Class customers will appreciate a private space with a sliding door and fully lie-flat seats. In Premium Economy, guests will enjoy extra-legroom 40-inch RECARO seats with leg and footrests, a leather headrest, a generous pitch, and large 4K seatback IFE screens. All customers will enjoy an exquisite dining experience, including signature Taiwanese dishes and amenities. Customers can also pre-order their meals online to ensure they receive their first choice.
