Spirit Airlines is rewarding new and existing Free Spirit loyalty members with 500 bonus points in their accounts. From now through December 31, 2022, members will receive the bonus simply by registering at bonus.spirit.com.
On Monday (September 19, 2022), Spirit Airlines announced that new and existing Free Spirit loyalty program members can instantly receive 500 bonus points. After creating a Free Spirit account, members should simply register at bonus.spirit.com to receive the extra points. Spirit’s loyalty program rewards members for every dollar spent instead of miles flown, with points earned for bookings, bags and seats, as well as purchases made with Free Spirit credit cards. Reward bookings start at only 2,500 points and are available for any fare on any flight. Guests can also use the Free Spirit + Cash option and combine as few as 1,000 points to get to their next trip even faster. For customers with status on other airlines, Spirit is offering customers the equivalent Free Spirit Status for 90 days with the Status Match Challenge.
In Monday’s announcement, Spirit Airlines’ Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, Bobby Schroeter, said,
“We wanted to provide a welcome bonus for new Free Spirit members that also acts as a ‘thank you’ to all of our current members in the program. Free Spirit focuses on what travelers and their families want, which is points that add up fast and generate rewards just as quickly, and we know our Guests want to be able to earn and redeem their points without jumping through hoops.”
Additionally, for a limited time, customers applying for the Free Spirit Travel More Mastercard® will receive 60,000 bonus points plus a $100 Companion Flight Voucher after spending $1,000 on purchases within 90 days of account opening.
