Spirit Airlines and Visit Lauderdale Launch New Sweepstakes

Spirit and Visit Lauderdale have launched a new sweepstakes, inviting travelers to enter for a chance to taste the flavors of Greater Fort Lauderdale.  Winners will enjoy roundtrip Spirit flights, an oceanfront hotel stay, and a Dine Out Lauderdale restaurant experience.

On Tuesday (July 22, 2025), South Florida-based Spirit Airlines announced that they are celebrating the diverse culture and culinary scene of the Greater Fort Lauderdale area this summer with the 'More Fly Fort Lauderdale Flyaway' sweepstakes.  In partnership with Visit Lauderdale, travelers are invited to enter for a chance to discover Greater Fort Lauderdale’s beautiful beaches and many entertainment offerings. The sweepstakes runs from today through August 3, 2025, and coincides with Dine Out Lauderdale restaurant months, a perfect time for foodies to fly to Greater Fort Lauderdale and indulge in pre-fixe menus at the area’s top restaurants, including MICHELIN-starred gems and waterfront favorites.


In Tuesday’s announcement, Spirit Airlines’ SVP and Chief Commercial Officer, Rana Ghosh, said,


“We love to celebrate our hometown, and this new sweepstakes is a fun way to share Fort Lauderdale's incredible energy and diverse cuisines with two lucky winners.  We’re proud to fly thousands of Guests to Fort Lauderdale every day and continue to grow our presence here with new routes and destinations.  Thank you to Visit Lauderdale and Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport for their continued partnership and support over the years.”


Also commenting on the new sweepstakes collaboration, Visit Lauderdale’s CEO, Stacy Ritter, added,
