Singapore Airlines will ramp up service for the 2024 Northern Summer season which runs from March 31, 2024 through October 26, 2024. The carrier will restore Airbus A380 service to Frankfurt, deploy an Airbus A350-900 to Cairns and Male, and more.
On Monday (August 7, 2023) Singapore Airlines (SIA) announced that they will boost services across their network for the 2024 Northern Summer season, including the restoration of Airbus A380 service between Singapore and Frankfurt, as well as A350-900 service to Cairns and Male. The carrier will also reinstate nonstop flights between Singapore and Barcelona, while increasing frequencies to or above pre-pandemic levels across multiple points. The 2023 Northern Summer season runs from March 31, 2024 through October 26, 2024.
In Monday’s announcement, Singapore Airlines’ SVP – Marketing & Planning, Ms. JoAnn Tan, said,
“With the release of SIA’s Northern Summer schedules, our customers can plan ahead and start to make their travel plans for 2024. Our customers will be able to enjoy greater choice and flexibility when they travel with us, as SIA continues to adjust and expand our network in response to demand patterns.”
SIA’s destinations that will meet or exceed pre-pandemic levels include Ahmedabad (India), Beijing and Shanghai (China), Copenhagen (Denmark), Da Nang (Vietnam), Darwin, Melbourne and Perth (Australia), Dubai (UAE), and Tokyo-Haneda (Japan), as well as Seattle and Houston (US).
