SAS has today announced the signing of a new codeshare agreement with Delta Air Lines, launching an enhanced partnership, following SAS' admittance to the global SkyTeam airline alliance.
On Monday (September 23, 2024), Scandinavian Airlines Systems (SAS) announced the launch of a new codeshare partnership with fellow SkyTeam member Delta Air Lines effective September 25, 2024. The agreement will enhance connectivity between North America and Scandinavia, offering customers more flight options. Guests traveling on a codeshare itinerary will also enjoy frequent flyer benefits, including the ability to earn and redeem SkyMiles of SAS EuroBonus points across both carriers. With the new commercial cooperation, SAS customers will gain additional access to over 150 destinations in North America via Delta’s hubs in Atlanta, Boston, Los Angeles, New York and Seattle. Likewise, Delta customers traveling from North America will enjoy access to 50 destinations in Northern Europe beyond SAS’ hubs in Copenhagen, Oslo and Stockholm.
In Monday’s announcement, SAS’ Chief Commercial Officer, Paul Verhagen, said,

Also commenting on the new codeshare partnership, Delta Air Lines SVP – Alliances, Parry Cantarutti, added,
