For their summer 2024 flying program, SAS is increasing frequencies to the North America and Asia and. The expansion includes up to two daily flights from Copenhagen to New York-JFK, complementing existing daily service to Newark, daily service to Boston and more.
On Thursday (December 14, 2023), SAS announced an expansion of their summer 2024 schedule with more service to North America and Asia. As part of the summer schedule, which starts March 31, 2024, SAS will increase frequency between Copenhagen and New York-JFK with up to two daily A321LR flights, complementing existing daily Airbus A330 service to New York-Newark from each of the Scandinavian capitals. Service between Copenhagen and Boston will also increase from six times weekly to daily service with an Airbus A350, while a fourth weekly flight will be added from Copenhagen to Toronto.
Starting April 25, 2024, SAS will also increase frequencies to Asia, with routes to both Shanghai and Tokyo increasing from three to four flights weekly, adding more passenger and cargo capacity. To support increased demand during the Easter holiday period, SAS is also extending their Bangkok route with weekly service until April 20, 2024.
