SAS Experiences High Demand for Their Reintroduced European Business Class Product

SAS has today reintroduced European Business Class, which is now available on all international European flights, including within Scandinavia.

On Wednesday (October 1st 2025), SAS announced the relaunch of their European Business Class product, which is now available on all international European flights, including within Scandinavia. According to the carrier, booking figures have shown a very positive response, confirming that customers have been waiting for a clearly defined premium product from SAS on European routes. Guests traveling in the new European Business Class enjoy a premium experience that combines greater comfort, flexibility, and service at a level aligned with international standards.
In Wednesday’s announcement, SAS’ Chief Commercial Officer, Paul Verhagen, said,
“The strong early interest shows that our premium strategy resonates with customers. With the reintroduction of European Business Class, we are delivering the premium experience expected of a full-service European airline, backed by our focus on operational excellence and on-time performance.”
Customers traveling in SAS’ European Business Class will enjoy a dedicated cabin at the front of the aircraft, a premium dining experience with glass and porcelain tableware, blocked middle seats for added comfort and privacy, and priority services at check-in and boarding. Additionally, Business Class guests will have access to approximately 60 lounges across Scandinavia and Europe.
