On Monday (April 11, 2022), Miami International Airport announced that Royal Air Maroc has resumed service between Miami and Casablanca. The inaugural restarted flight took place on Sunday, April 10, 2022, marking the only nonstop service between Florida and Africa. Royal Air Maroc will offer two weekly flights on the route with a 302-seat Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, increasing to three weekly flights from May 15, 2022. The carrier first launched Miami-Casablanca service in 2019, which was MIA’s first flight to Africa since 2000, and Florida’s only direct service to the continent. Casablanca is the 94th international destination served by Miami International Airport, the second busiest U.S. airport for international travel.

Royal Air Maroc offers service to over 105 destinations with a fleet of 52 aircraft. From their Casablanca hub, the airline connects Morocco to five continents, and offers dozens of connections to North Africa, West Africa and the Middle East. Royal Air Maroc is recognized as a 4-Star Airline by SKYTRAX, an international air transport rating organization.
