Regional One Orders Two Additional Embraer E190F P2F Freighters

Embraer has announced an expansion of their partnership with Regional One, with the addition of two more E190F passenger-to-freight (P2F) conversions, doubling their existing order for two.

On Thursday (June 18, 2025), from the Paris Air Show 2025, Embraer announced that Regional One has ordered two additional E190F passenger-to-freight (P2F) converted aircraft, doubling their existing order for two, which was placed in 2022.  Embraer also announced on Thursday that Bridges Air Cargo will be the launch operator of the E-Freighter, Regional One’s inaugural client for the E190F.  The first of the two freighters is expected jo join Bridges’ fleet in Q3 2025.  Based on the E190 platform, the E-Freighter offers superior performance, flexibility, and cost efficiency, making it an ideal choice for Regional One’s growing fleet.    


In Wednesday’s announcement, Regional One’s Chief Investment Officer, George Mamangakis, said,


“We’re expanding our freighter fleet with two additional Embraer E-Freighters to better serve the growing demand for efficient, flexible, and sustainable cargo solutions.  This strategic move reinforces our strong partnership with Embraer and highlights our shared focus on innovation, performance, and operational excellence in air freight.”


Also commenting on the new E-Freighter order, Embraer Commercial Aviation’s President and CEO, Arjan Meijer, said,


“We are delighted that Regional One has chosen to expand their E-Freighter fleet with Embraer. This order is a testament to the outstanding capabilities of our E-Freighter platform.  We look forward to continuing our strong partnership with Regional One and supporting their growth in the cargo sector.”

With a maximum capacity of 13,500 kg., E-Freighters will have over 40 percent more capacity and three times the range of large cargo turboprops, while delivering up to 30 lower operating costs compared to larger narrowbody freighters.
