Qatar Airways will resume flights to Casablanca and Marrakesh on June 30, 2023. The flights will operate four times weekly on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays with a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner.

On Monday (April 17, 2023), Qatar Airways announced the restart of service from Doha to Casablanca and Marrakesh from June 30, 2023. The route will operate four times weekly on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays with a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner featuring 22 Business Class and 232 Economy Class seats. Inbound customers to Doha will also enjoy seamless one-stop connectivity to over 160 destinations across Qatar Airways’ extensive global network. Morocco’s largest city, Casablanca is known for its beauty and modern elegance, with a contrast of timeless architecture. The vibrant city attracts visitors from all around the world. Marrakesh offers a more traditional aesthetic with stunning scenery, rich history and thriving souqs (marketplaces).
In Monday’s announcement, Qatar Airways Group’s Chief Executive, His Excellency Mr. Akbar Al Baker, said,

Qatar Airways flight QR1397 will depart Doha at 09:15 and arrive in Casablanca at 15:10, before departing Casablanca at 16:30, and arriving in Marrakesh at 17:25. The return flight, QR1398, departs Marrakesh at 18:55 and arrives in Casablanca at 19:45, and then departs Casablanca at 21:20, arriving in Doha at 06:30+1 (all times local). Qatar Airways will operate the Casablanca route throughout summer, with the seasonal continuing service to Marrakesh operating until September 11, 2023.
