Qatar Airways Privilege Club Extends Tier Status Through December 2022

Qatar Airways has extended tier status for all Silver, Gold and Platinum members whose tier status is due for renewal between December 2021 and December 2022 until December 31, 2022.

On Wednesday (December 22, 2021), Qatar Airways announced that they will extend Qatar Airways Privilege Club’s Member tier status until December 31, 2022. This initiative will benefit Silver, Gold and Platinum members whose tier status is due for renewal between December 2021 and December 2022, who will now receive an automatic extension. Privilege Club continues to enhance benefits, including reducing the number of Qmiles required to book award flights by up to 49 percent. Additionally, every time a member earns or spends Qmiles, the balance is valid for 36 more months. Privilege Club also launched Hotel & Car Rewards, allowing members to earn and spend Qmiles at over 350,000 hotels and more than 20,000 car rental locations worldwide.


In Wednesday’s announcement, Qatar Airways Group’s Chief Executive, His Excellency Mr. Akbar Al Baker, said,
